Trying to learn how to download pictures. Should be up tomorrow.
The next best thing to being home and seeing the signs of spring is being able to see pictures of home. Several good friends have volunteered to send pictures of the garden. Tom of Soul of the Garden have been showing off his magnolia, which is in full bloom. In Ohio (where is it still snowing), my magnolia buds are still tightly bound. The daffs used to line a side walk, however, with a new addition, and a stone wall, the daffs are just in rows--decided let them be. The last picture is the side of the house, the trellis and arbor both have roses growing on them, and junipers a solid wall.
Even here in Iraq, you can tell that it is spring. Some of what I called scrub trees are leafing out--that fresh green color of spring. In front of the chapel, there is a postage size of lawn and it is now emerald. Another sign of spring here, is the birds. They are calling to each other and building nests for future event. Even without tulips, daffs and robins, it is spring in Iraq.
